The Golden Valley – Crystal – New Hope Joint Water Commission meeting was called to order at 1:30 pm, in the City of Golden Valley Council Conference Room. 

Members Present:
Tom Burt, City Manager, Golden Valley
Kirk McDonald, Acting City Manager, New Hope
Anne Norris, City Manager, Crystal

Staff Present:
Jeannine Clancy, Public Works Director, Golden Valley
Paul Coone, Operations Manager, New Hope
Bert Tracy, Utility Maintenance Supervisor, Golden Valley
Mark Gaulke, Utility Maintenance Supervisor, New Hope
Guy Johnson, Public Works Director, New Hope
Tom Mathison, Public Works Director, Crystal
Randy Kloepper, Utility Maintenance Supervisor, Crystal
Dave Lemke, Utility Maintenance Supervisor, Golden Valley

Approval of JWC Minutes
MOVED by Norris, seconded by McDonald to approve the minutes of the July 16 meeting. The motion carried.

Preparation for the September 13 task force meeting with Minneapolis:
Tom Burt said topics to be discussed at the Joint Task Force meeting in Minneapolis would be water conservation and water supply. The time for the meeting will be from 4-6 pm and Vice Chair Norris will confirm the meeting location and send it to everyone.

Next Meeting
The next meeting will be held on October 3, 2007.

Adjournment
Tom Burt moved to adjourn the meeting. The meeting was adjourned at 1:40 p.m.
